Travel with A Purpose

During many of my travels I found myself being caught up with the typical touristy things. Im not saying that there is anything wrong with being a tourist. I mean after all we visit places to sight see right? And we all have our very own reasons on why we like to travel. For me its more about connecting with the people. I like to interact with the locals because thats where I can actually enjoy my experience. Not only that, I try to involve myself in as many projects which is another way to feel connected to the people of which ever country I am in.  

Here you'll find updates on projects I'm currently involved in and I want to share these projects so that one day when you visit any of these places you can volunteer your time and also get involved. 

So far I am involved in one project in Nairobi, Kenya at a children rescue center. I go and spend time with the kids and help where i am needed, whether its the classroom, kitchen or simply just playing around with the kids. The name of the center is called InuaMimiRescueCenter  which is located in the heart of Kibera Slums, which is one of the worlds largest slums.
